The toy

Stian is our toy. Not in a weird way — more in the “we found him on TV and decided to adopt him” kind of way. We first saw him on an old rerun of Teletubbies, just wandering around in the background like he had accidentally walked onto the wrong set. Something about his energy made us pause the episode and collectively agree: we need this creature in the band. So we brought him on board. The way he speaks, acts, and performs is honestly unbelievable. He moves like he’s operating on a completely different software version than the rest of us — one that includes chaotic whimsy, sudden bursts of genius, and at least three undocumented features. Watching him tune his guitar is like watching a cosmic event: unpredictable, slightly concerning, but impossible to look away from. And did you know Teletubbies could play guitar, sing, AND write songs? Yeah, neither did we. But then Stian showed up. The man can compose a full chorus while eating a sandwich and explaining the plot of a movie no one else has seen. He can play riffs that sound like they were discovered under a rainbow but broken by a distortion pedal. He can scream, he can whisper, he can occasionally make noises that aren’t in any known human language. We call him Tipsi — partly because he’s got the energy of a Teletubby who found the coffee machine, and partly because no one really knows what his deal is. Some say he’s human. Some say he’s a forgotten children’s TV prop that gained sentience. All we know is that life is significantly weirder, louder, and more entertaining with him around.
